conatus.expert.exponents_dense(hill, *, finite_cap)[source]¶

All Floquet exponents of a μ-linear Hill operator (M(μ) = A + μ B), small sizes only.

Generalized EVP of the assembled matrix; eigenvalues with |μ| > finite_cap (the infinite ones of the tau/BC rows, whose mass rows vanish) are dropped and their number returned in the attribute n_dropped of the result (never discarded silently).
